Our dumpster trailers are 17-yd for a 4,000 lb load (2 tons). Our trailer dimensions are 14′ L x 7′ W x 4′ H.
Total Family Dumpsters currently serves Lee and Charlotte counties in southwest Florida. Not in either of those counties? Not a problem, for standard mileage fees we will deliver and pickup a dumpster trailer at your location.
We will at your request, but often find it’s not necessary.
Additional weight will be billed at $80/ton.
The rental period begins the day the dumpster is dropped off unless otherwise granted by Total Family Dumpsters.
Rate prices include one drop off and one pickup as well as the included dump fees for up to 2 tons of weight. We secure the load prior to hauling the dumpster trailer away.
Currently we offer dumpster trailer delivery only, however customer pickup will be an option in the future. Watch our website or Facebook page for updates.
Any additional pickups needed during the scheduled rental period will be discounted plus any additional dump fee overages will need to be paid for.
A rental period that needs to be extended beyond the original rental period will result in a daily rate of $70.00 per additional day.

Should you need to cancel your reservation, a $35.00 cancellation fee will apply if a charge has been made and processed via ACH, wire, credit or debit card.
If you refuse delivery of the dumpster trailer or cancel with less than 12 hours notice, a refund is at the sole discretion of Total Family Dumpsters and a trip fee of $50.00/hr may also be deducted in addition to the $35.00 cancellation fee.
“Trip Fees” are billed in minimum increments of 1-hour, and at $50.00/hr. If a dumpster has already been dispatched to it’s delivery location at the time you request a cancellation, or if you refuse delivery, the trip fee will apply for any time incurred from the time the driver left the storage yard or previous stop to the time arriving back at the storage yard with no limitations.
You must call to schedule pick up of the dumpster trailer; we do not pick up without notice at the end of the rental period.
If you have any questions about whether a particular material is considered hazardous or unacceptable material, please call us BEFORE placing and attempting to dispose of the material in the dumpster trailer.
The following items all have to be disposed of differently than normal waste and are NOT allowed in our dumpster trailers:
Debris may NOT extend above the top rim of the dumpster trailer. The tarp must be able to roll completely over the top without obstruction. The end doors must be closed and securely latched. We will secure the load prior to removing the dumpster trailer from your property.
